Why do missing swipes reflect in the attendance system?

If an employee forgets to swipe in/out at the start, during, or end of their work hours, it will result in missing swipes that are reflected in the attendance system. Also, if you've chosen to pair subsequent entry logs, the attendance system will still show a missing swipe if the pairing is not complete.
