Editing or deleting a client

Introduction

Keeping the client list updated and also having the correct details configured for each client is of great importance. Aspects like the billing address and rate cards are important for billing. Including incorrect details in the invoices you raise to the client can result in delayed payments. 


To get started, Navigate to the Projects (1) >> Clients (2)

Here, you can see and manage all the clients currently added to your organization.

Editing client details

To update the client details, click on the three dots corresponding to the client and select Update from the drop-down.



On the Update Client window, make necessary changes to the client information and then click Update


Client code and billing currency cannot be modified.



Deleting a client


To delete a client you've added, select Delete from the drop-down. 



In the Delete Client overlay window, Enter "DELETE" in the text field and then click Delete.


You cannot delete a client when there are projects currently assigned to them. Remove the projects assigned before you attempt to delete the client.
