Manage ongoing loans

Introduction


Ongoing loans are those that have already been disbursed and partially repaid by employees outside of the Keka. These ongoing loans can be managed within Keka and the system facilitates the recovery of the remaining loan amount from the employees efficiently.

Adding ongoing loans on Keka?

To add an ongoing loan, please go to Payroll (1) then go to Loans (2) and then to Outstanding Loans (3). Click on the +Add new loan (4) button and search for the employee to whom you would want to add the loan.




Loan policy should be assigned to employee to add an ongoing loan


Enable the option "This is an ongoing/existing loan" and fill all the loan details and as the loan is an ongoing loan, we will have to add the past repayment details after adding the original loan details.



Now verify the remaining repayment details as shown below and the click on "Save" to add the ongoing loan.



How to manage ongoing loans on Keka?

In case of any discrepancy or error, the ongoing loan that has been added can be cancelled and in case of any changes that are needed, then the loan & repayment details can be updated accordingly.


Edit & cancellation of an ongoing loan can be performed before the repayment starts in keka




How to add ongoing loans in bulk?

To import these ongoing loans in bulk, you can use the loan import and select the loan type as "Existing/Ongoing Loan" and add all the necessary details to import them in bulk.
