Creating and managing hiring flows on Keka Hire.

Introduction

The Hiring workflow is the process of posting jobs, shortlisting candidates, selecting, managing interviews, and hiring new employees for the company. The hiring flow illustrates what the established hiring process is for each role. You may have different stages including shortlisting, behavioral and technical assessments, and multiple rounds of interviews before making a hiring decision. 


In Keka, you can create separate hiring flows for the various job roles you are hiring for. You can also customize these flows with the different stages you need


Creating a hiring flow


Here's how you can create a new Hiring Flow in Keka Hire - 


Login to the Keka Hire and click on Settings (1) from the left pane, and under the Hiring section select Hiring Flow (2). Under Hiring Flow click on +Create hiring flow (3).



In the Add Hiring Flow overlay window, Enter the Hiring Flow Name and Description in the provided fields. Then, in the Screening and Interview sections of the hiring flow, you can add more stages. To add a stage, click on +Add Stage (1).


Enter the name of the stage you want to add. Once you have added the stage, click on the Save Icon (2) (Tick icon) here.



You can also drag and rearrange the stages using the drag icon at the left of the field. 



Additionally, you can Edit or Delete existing stages by clicking the Edit or Delete icons next to the stages. Once all the edits are done you can click on Save to save the Hiring Flow.



Note - The stages under Sourced, Preboarding, Hired and Archived cannot be changed.


This will create a new hiring flow with the details and stages you wish to have.


Editing an existing hiring flow


Say you want to make some changes to an existing hiring flow to add or remove a stage. Here's how you can do this. Go to the Settings (1) section of the Keka Portal, and click on Hiring Flows (2). Then click on the Pen Icon (3) adjacent to the hiring flow that needs to be edited.



Now you can add new stages, and you can change the hiring levels as well.


Drag the arrow sign (1) next to a stage and move it below or above any other stage, and that's how you can change the hiring flow.


Note - The Sourced, Preboarding, Hired, and Archived stages cannot be moved around.


To add a new stage, click on +Add Stage (2) and you can add a new stage and adjust the level for the same (we have created one stage for instance as Interview Round 2), and then click on Update (3).



This is how you can edit the Hiring Flow.
